I adore this picture for the hidden meaning and the way this girl is stuck in the middle of something despite the fact that she's trying to avoid it with an umbrella.

Observations

After studying stained glass and the art which comes with it, I found that I could not use this style as my plan changed to fit a social injustice I wanted to call out on. Thie issue I would like to work on is LGBT and the invisibility the lesser-known sexualities feel. I know this fist-hand, so I know that the lack of knowledge either comes from not knowing or hearing about it or ignorance. Ignorance, to me,is the most hurtful. Ignorance comes from people who believe they know everything and believe no one doesn't want love (which, of course, is incorrect). It's hurtful, to say the least. And those people, for the most part, can't be saved. So what I would like to do is make a piece to bring awareness to the fact that the smaller sexualities feel like they aren't seen by the public eye. This issue upsets me, of course.

The plan is to use a graffiti style Banksy likes to use to bring awareness. I would like to make a silhouette of a person and spraypaint the asexual pride flag in the background and add a childishly scribbled heart where it should be, on the chest.

(Mr. Flag, n.d.)This is the asexual pride flag, which I want to bring awareness to. This will be my colour scheme of my final piece.

This is my rough draft idea, without the flag in the background but the silhouette remains. I will not draw out the silhouette, seeing that I am apparently incapable of drawing an average human body. I'd like the heart to be a bit more scribbly next time.
